A nutrient blend for thio-bacteria used in H2S scrubbing for CBG (compressed biogas) purification.

A nutrient blend that keeps thio-bacteria cultures active in the biological scrubbers removing hydrogen sulphide from compressed biogas, where culture health determines scrubbing efficiency. A biological scrubber is cheaper to run than a chemical one and produces no spent caustic to dispose of, but it only holds that advantage while the culture is fed. When a plant sees H2S creeping up at the outlet, the cause is more often a starved or unbalanced culture than a fault in the vessel. Dosing is set against your gas flow and inlet sulphide load rather than a fixed rate.
