How ChemEngg Research Pvt. Ltd. collects, uses, and protects the information you share with us.
At a glance
This summary is for convenience only. The full policy below is what governs.
We collect two kinds of information. The first is what you give us directly: your name, company, email address, phone number, and the content of your message when you contact us through the enquiry form, by email, by WhatsApp, or by phone. The second is collected automatically when you browse this site, and is limited to standard technical data such as the pages you view, your browser and device type, and an approximate location derived from your IP address. We do not ask for, and have no reason to hold, sensitive personal information.
We use what you send us to answer your enquiry, to judge whether we are the right partner for the work, and to route the request to the chemist or engineer best placed to respond. Where an enquiry becomes a project, the same information is used to administer that engagement. We do not use enquiry data for unrelated marketing, we do not add you to a mailing list because you asked us a question, and we do not sell your personal data to anyone.
We keep the list of third parties short by design. This website is hosted on Cloudflare infrastructure, which processes the technical data described above in the course of serving pages to you. If you choose to contact us over WhatsApp, that conversation is carried by WhatsApp and subject to its own terms. Our email is handled by our email service provider. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers under any circumstances.
Traffic to this site is encrypted in transit. Internally, enquiry information is available only to the people who need it to respond to you, which is the same principle we apply to client technical data under NDA. No system is perfect, and we will not claim otherwise, but the commitment we make on our Contact page holds here too: what you send us is treated as confidential from the moment it arrives.
We keep enquiry information for as long as it is useful for the purpose it was given, which normally means the life of the conversation or engagement it relates to, plus seven years afterwards, in line with our record-keeping obligations under Indian company and tax law. You can ask us to delete your data at any time, and we will unless one of those obligations prevents it.
You can ask us what personal data of yours we hold, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, ask us to delete it, and withdraw any consent you have given. As a company registered in India, we handle these requests under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Write to contact@chemenggresearch.com and we will respond within a reasonable period. We will not make you jump through hoops to exercise a right the law already gives you.
This website and our services are intended for business use and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
ChemEngg Research Pvt. Ltd. works with clients across the Middle East, Africa, Europe, the United States, and Australia as well as India. If you contact us from outside India, your information is transferred to and processed in India, where our operations are based, and is covered by this policy and by Indian law. By sending us an enquiry from another country, you understand that this transfer takes place. If you are writing to us from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, this transfer relies on your explicit action in submitting an enquiry, since no formal adequacy decision currently covers transfers to India. We take reasonable organisational and contractual measures to protect your information to a standard consistent with the GDPR and UK GDPR, regardless of where it is processed.
The Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 requires us to publish a named Grievance Officer for privacy complaints. That person is Suraj Acham, Grievance Officer. Write to privacy@chemenggresearch.com, or by post to N2-408, River Residency, Phase 3, Chikhali, Pune, Maharashtra 411062, India, and we will treat it as a formal grievance and respond within a reasonable period.
We may update this policy from time to time, for example if we add an analytics tool or change how enquiries are handled. The Last Updated date above always reflects the most recent revision. Where a change materially affects how we treat your data, we will make that clear on this page rather than quietly amending the text.
